Bye bye George.

After being with us for nearly 12 weeks, it was time for George to return to school.

I had a great time, with him here and I already miss him lots.

We played every day and every night, I tucked him in, to my bed.

I'm glad George had a nice time with us abd didnt have to spent lockdown alone.

Mummy said hes now staying with my teacher and hes not alone.

We made a short video, to say good bye to George.

The new normal.

Here are our adventures, from the past few days.

Its hard to find things to do, to entertain George! Especially now hes unwell, we have to be careful, because if he runs about too much, he wont get better.

My Nanny and Grandad, live by the sea so we dont see them much. Now, that we cant leave our house, we wont see them for a long time. This made me sad, so my Nanny aent me and Cam a present. She sent us a Fairy Garden to build!! I was very excited, because I've wanted one for ages!!
We added soil and decorated the garden, so the Fairy had a nice house. Then, Mummy sprinkled seeds on the garden and now we have to leave them, to let the grass grow.

George is feeling much better now and keeps stealing, my lunch!

Mummy and Daddy put our tent up, in the garden. They said that when it gets a bit warmer, we can sleep out there!! George enjoyed his first time in the tent and had a story with us! Hopefully, next week he can camp out, with us!! 

Its now the Easter holdiays, so Mummy said we dont have to do any school work for a while. Hopefully the Easter Bunny will drop some goodies, off next week! 

Day 4833, in isolation!!

We've been trying to have as much fun, as possible. Its hard and I'm starting to get, a bit fed up.

The past few days have been spent at home, waiting for Cam, to get better. Her medicine is working and shes feeling much much better.

One activity we have done, is design your own football shirt. My favourite football team, Derby County, have started a competition! I made mine nice and colourful and George said, he thought mine was great!

After colouring, we went for a small walk. We cant go far, as it hurts Cams chest but the Doctor said it would be good for her. We had to keep away from other people, but we didnt see anyone, anyway! George couldnt walk far, so I took him in my pushchair. It was nice to get some fresh air!

We spent the afternoon, making jelly!! I love jelly and its so much fun to make. Its sticky! George had it all over, his paws!!

After making jelly, George said he didnt feel well. He started coughing and felt very hot. Mummy rang the doctor and they said George probably had the bug!! We gave George some calpol and put him to bed to sleep. The next say, the doctor said George needed to make sure he didnt pass it on and made him wear, a mask!!

Hopefully George will feel better, soon.

Isolated!

Today, we decided to do some school work. I hadn't done any until today, as we've been too busy playing games and going in the garden. But now Cam is poorly, we cant go outside.

George helped me with my pencil control. He wasnt very helpful!

George got bored very quickly and said he wanted to play with Lego. We found him playing with Mummys Lego, which is really cheeky!!

Hopefully we can get back in the garden soon!!

Uh oh!

On Saturday, my sister had to go to hospital.
She was feeling very poorly and was really hot. My Daddy took her, while George and I stayed with Mummy and Blake. George and I helped Mummy cook tea and look after Blake.

Cam and Daddy were at the hospital for ages. When they finally came home, Cam had a mask on and Daddy said we now couldn't go outside, for a few days.
The doctor has said Cam probably has the bug. This means, we all need to stay in our house in case, I get the bug too.

George will now have to stay with us, incase he gets it to.

My sister was sad and crying, because she hurt, so I let her cuddle George. George made her smile and that made me happy.

Fingers crossed, noone else gets poorly. George said he will look after us, if we do.

Lockdown lockdown!

The past few days, have been quiet. We've stayed home, as Boris asked us too and have kept ourselves, safe.

We've started everyday by doing our PE lesson, with Joe Wicks.

On Thursday, we watched a special magic show, by The Amazing Mr Tall. Mr Tall is my aunties Daddy and hes brilliant. George enjoyed watching him, for the 1st time.

On Friday, I took George for a bike ride. We didnt go far, because we arent allowed but we had fun and went really fast!!

 

It was windy but nice to be outside of the house and having fun.

On Thursday, Mummy let a penguin into the house...it was huge!!! Peter Penguin came in for a fish and a cuddle!!

Its been hard, staying home but we are all still healthy, so its ok.
George is still having fun with us and cant wait to see what fun we can have, next.

Lazy day.

Today, was a lazy day.

We started with PE, with again. George is getting good at star jumps!!

While waiting for tea, we watched some South Park! George and his new friend, Ralph watched together.

After tea, mummy caught George drawing on her windows!! Hes a cheeky bear but he said it was for other children to spot, while out walking.

It was a quiet day because we are staying at home. Its hard to find stuff to do every day bit we have to stay home to keep everyone safe.

No school Monday!

Today was the 1st day, of no school!!

We started the day with PE. Mummy put Joe Wicks on the tv and we copied, as best we could. We did it in our pjs, because we were having a lazy morning!

After PE, we had some breakfast. George shared my hoops and frosties! George tried to get my cup of tea, but I wasnt sharing my cuppa!

After breakfast, we played in the garden. The sun was out and it was better than being inside! Mummy got the bubble machine, out for us. I love bubbles and enjoying chasing them and popping them!

For tea, we had homemade curry. This is one of my favourite teas! I love to dip my big crisps, in my sauce! George really enjoyed the curry, especially the mango chutney!

After tea, it was time to settle down and go to bed. Daddy read us all a story. George picked “Jack and the smelly beanstalk".

I'm really enjoying having George stay with us and I think hes having fun, too.

Sunday funday!

Today, was Mothers Day and we had a chilled out day.

We started the day, with some crafts. We made pictures, for all the older people, who are stuck in their houses, because of the bug. Once they are dry, Mummy will post them to my great grandparents, grandparents and other family and friends.
George loved gluing and sticking and I had to make sure, he didnt glue his paws to the pictures!

George enjoyed a hotdog for lunch! He told me he loves hotdogs and he ate it all up!

After lunch, we played outside. Its important to get outside and exercise, especially as we are confined to our house and cant go out, like we normally would. It makes me sad, that we cant go to Legoland or to see my great nanny, but I know it wont be forever and I love taking George, on my wiggle bike!

It started to get a bit cold, so we came in and settled down, to watch a film. George chose, The Queens Corgi. It was very funny and George and I snuggled under a blanket, while we watched it.

Because its Mothers Day, we had a cheeky tea. Daddy went and picked up KFC!! George said he'd not had that before and he told me, it was yummy!! KFC is my favourite!

After tea, it was Pjs on and settling down time. George has had a busy day but I still needed to rock him, to sleep!

Tomorrow is our first day, of no school. I hope George will help me, do my homework!

Georges first day.

Today, was Georges first full day with us.

Due to the pandemic, we are staying at home. Its not lots of fun, but we are trying.

After breakfast, we played in the garden. The sun was shining, so we decided to get some fresh air and exercise.
I decided to take George shopping. Unfortunately, due to all the panic buyers, George was unable to buy any Piccalilli, (he told me, its his favourite!) so, he will have to share my dinner later!

After shopping, we played on the trampoline, with my sisters. Cameron, dolly, George and I, jumped so high, Blake couldnt stand up!!

While on the trampoline, George spotted my motorbike and fancied a spin.

We spent the afternoon, watching films and relaxing. After dinner, we had a boogie. We love dancing  and I think George, enjoyed it too.

I think George, really enjoyed his first full day with us. He is now in his Pjs, snoring in my bed.
I think hes dreaming about causing mischief, tomorrow!

Georges first night.

I'm very excited to have George, stay with me.

Mummy has let him sit, on her LEGO shelf! This is so my baby sister, Blake, cannot get him. As you can see, she loves him already!

After tea, we found him some of Blakes old pyjamas, so he could be comfortable in bed. I chose Batman ones!
We settled down for bed and George sat very nicely, for the Cbebbies bedtime story.

I introduced George to my cat, Prawn. He wasn't very excited to see him. My other cat, Cracker, didn't want to meet him! He keeps running away!

George will sleep in my bed, while he stays with me and I've made sure he will be very comfortable! I am going to give him, big cuddles, all night!!

Georges arrival.

Today, a very special guest has joined us.

George has come to stay, while Loxdale Primary School shuts due to the horrible pandemic.

My name is Darcy and George was chosen to come and stay with me for a while, because I demonstrated Commado Joes behaviour trait, of excellence this week.

George is going to be staying with us, a little longer than normal because school is shut.

This blog will document Georges adventures with my family and I, until we can return to school and Mummy will help me, post updates on our adventures
